What does the Holy Quran tell us about death?

Almighty Allah tells us in numerous verses of the Holy
Quran about death and about aspects related to death.
However, there is one particular part of one of these verses that is known to almost every Muslim, and one that gives an explicit message which none can deny. Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran,

Every Soul Must Taste Death
[Surah Aale Imran (3), Verse 185]
